Escale Type Family

Escale is a family of three typefaces (Bellecour, Apolonia, and Palomero) that I designed for my diploma project at Ecal in 2018. These three fonts share similar characteristics such as their x-height and their skeleton. 

Based on an interrail, all three typefaces are inspired by vernacular typefaces, urban landscapes, and signs that I found on my way between Switzerland and Portugal, the two countries where I grew up.
